Common Computer Security Threats:
- Viruses2 - you may have heard of the disastrous ones such as Trojan, Mydoom etc, however, there are thousands out there and more are being developed all the time. Infiltration can occur most commonly through email attachments and may appear completely innocent. They can destroy or corrupt your computer and if you have networked PCs, can travel through your entire system.
- Pop-Ups (Spyware1) - at best these are annoying when you are surfing the net! At worst they could contain programs that capture your keystrokes, credit card information and may lead to identity theft!

* Package pricing assumes that either Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista is installed.
It is also assumed that an existing virus or spyware infection is not present on the machine. Otherwise there will be an additional charge to bring the machine to a minimum supportable level. |
